Simon Grigalius is a unique food and sustainability consultant with over 20 years of experience in hospitality and communication, using studies in sustainability and environmental science to deliver innovative business solutions and community enterprise.
Simon’s current focus is on projects promoting collaboration between businesses and community, which can contribute to the integration and balance between environmental conservation, economic development and social needs.
His recent experience includes recognition by United Nations for his efforts in World Environment Day, implementing and facilitating the Bond University Sustainability Panel, receiving short film producer award for the Love Food Hate Waste project supported by the NSW Department of Environment, and hosting the Gold Coast’s Sustainable Long Lunch and Inter-school Eco Cooking Competitions.
Simon and his brand “MYLK – my little kitchen” gained instant recognition after Channel 7’s first reality TV cooking show, My Restaurant Rules, became a global hit, in 2004. His profile and expertise is sought regularly to contribute to all forms of media and includes food judging, professional input and event hosting.
